Well, we survived the first 3 days back, and it was a nice way to ease back into the routine! This week we will be back at our regular schedule and working hard on our daily work and growing our knowledge!
***Please watch for the next set of multiplication facts to be coming home on Tuesday in Tuesday folders. Keep practicing those facts and all the previous facts at home regularly! The practice is really paying off! No need to send in the quiz stapled to the letter, it’s for you to use for practice at home.
***SHOES!!!! Please make sure your kids have a pair of shoes to change into after they come in from outside. Having a pair of shoes that can be left in cubbies is a great way to solve having to remember to put them in backpacks on a daily basis.
***Remember no snowpants means your kiddo can’t be out playing in the snow. It’s cold out there, and wet! If your child wants to be able to play in the snow please make sure that he/she has snow boots, snowpants, coats, gloves, hats, all the winter gear necessary. We don’t want anyone wet and cold for the rest of the day because that’s just no fun. The kids know the rule, but sometimes just need a little reminding.
***Spelling words are up on the site and are ready on spellingcity.com for the kids to practice.
***As always please make sure they are reading and be checking for homework/unfinished daily work, as we don’t want to be playing the catch up game or track it down game every day!
I hope you all had a lovely break! I’m so glad to be back in the classroom with your kids, as I missed them and their smiling faces! Here’s to a wonderful week!
