We survived our week of testing, and with the exception of a few kiddos who need to finish up, or make up a test, we are all done until the spring! Your kids did so well, and made some great growth! I am so proud of them and all their hard work!
*** This week we will be finishing up Chapter 7 in math and testing on our division facts and use of strategies learned. Please continue to practice multiplication facts at home with your child, as they are so important! We will be heading into fractions this week, but will be continuing to see lots of multiplication and division in our spiral review and in our new math centers!
*** Parents please make sure your child is bringing shoes to change into for music, as now it will affect their grade if they do not have sneakers. Even dress boots, I have been told, are considered boots, and therefore require a different pair of shoes for music. It is always ok, and still a great idea to just keep a pair of shoes in their cubby or at their desk, during this winter season!
*** We have earned our "Board Game Day" and our "Pizza Party" so, I will be sending home information about both of these this week. We will be ordering from Domino's Pizza, as it allergy friendly.
*** I will also be sending home information about the Valentine's Day party, soon. It will be on February 14th, but time yet to be determined!
*** Jan. 30th is the 100th Day of School
