It's hard to believe this is the last week in September, and that we have officially been in school for a month! It was great running into some of you at Saturday Live this weekend! Us Montanans know how to handle a little chilly weather and not complain! Thankfully though, this week looks like outside recess for your kiddos! They did reach their first goal with the Blurt Beans, and earned 10 minutes of extra recess on Thursday, this last week! Please have a little chat with your kiddo about the importance of not talking with their neighbors during work time, as this last week was a record breaker for losing beans! I'm chalking it up to the weather change, but a reminder chat is always a good idea. :) Another little reminder, make sure to check with your child about whether or not they have unfinished work in their backpack, and please help them get it done and sent back to school the next day. It helps them to keep on top of the material, and me to keep on top of the grading and make sure they are understanding the material. Also be on the lookout for those agendas, you should be seeing those every night, and initialing that you saw them. Make sure your kiddo is pulling them out of their backpack and showing them to you and telling you what we did for the day! This is also where they record how many beans they have at the end of the day, so it's a good place to check in to see how they're doing there too. We are off to a great start, and this is a great group of kids! Thank you for letting me be their teacher!
