We have another great week ahead of us! It officially feels like fall and it is October! This week is the Fund Run on Friday, so don't forget to come and cheer our kids on. They are quick runners and love to participate in anything that has "Fun" worked into the title. The PTA is still looking for volunteers, so you can sign up on FreshSchools, or even donate there. This is the BIG fundraiser of the year, so spread the word!
Speaking of FreshSchools, if you haven't signed up, please do! I checked, and I only have 20 students in my class on there, so get yourselves signed up so that I can message you when I need to during the week! :)
Our basket for the auction at the family carnival this year is going to be "Football Frenzy!" Feel free to start sending in anything that has to do with football, and let's make our basket super successful. Ideas could include, blankets for cold stadium games, thermos cups, jerseys, stadium seats, tailgating items, football party decorations... Use your creative minds to think of more!
Spanish classes will be starting up in the mornings at the school soon. If your child is interested in signing up, check out Arrowheads homepage and look for the link. What an amazing opportunity to learn a new language at such a young age! It is so much easier for kids to pick up foreign languages than adults, so now is the perfect time to try a new one out.
Friday I sent home papers with your child's new username and password for Spellingcity.com. We have a membership to this website, and our words for this week are already up there. This is a great way for your kids to practice and have fun! Get them on the computer, or download the app, and get them "playing!"
